Between engine series, of the ones that are the same displacement, is there any difference in the block itself?

Basically, i want to know if there is any real difference in just the block itself between the B18A and B18C, or any other B18 that is out there. Im sure there are but i was just wondering...

In other words i was thinking it would be somewhat logical to take a B18A out of a 92 (or possibly 93) integra, and slap a B16 header. Possible? Practical? haha, don't rag on me, i already tried to search this.

The displacement may be the same, but they are different in specs bore, stroke, compression etc... Thats why they are badged differently B18A1, B18B, B18C, B18C5, and so on

You can swap heads (I assume you meant heads instead of headers) between them. Which head should be determinted by your future plans, same for your block.

the ls motors b18a b18b have slightly higher displacement, the bore specs are the same 81mm, b18a and b18b motors are almost identical. You can use any b series header on your motor, you just might have to lengthin or shortin you exhaust as the collecter might be shorter or longer
