engine diagram

i am trying to find a diagram of the engine of an 02 escape. either that, or i am looking for the location of the starter. i think i need to replace the starter, and a have friend who may be able to do it; but he wanted to know where the starter was located. any help would be greatly appreciated.

Are you sure you need a starter??

The starter is easy to find...4 cyl. or 6 cyl...on the 6 it is right below the intake manifold above the trans bellhousing.

That thing will cost you $140-180...
