kbb

so i'm interested in knowing why a 250k civic is more valuable for resale than my 42k neon. that's according to kelly blue book, based on common sense the neon will be bought.
but seriously kbb needs to refine how it values cars. it shouldnt be based soley on the company name, but milage, collectability, options, consumer reports, all the stuff people care about, i dont give a damn if i bought a fiat, i just want a car that can get from point a to point b.
anyone else agree?
according to kbb, my neon with cd player and new speakers, sunroof, and 44k, is worth 2g, but my friends accord is worth 3.5g with 160k and a cd player that doesnt work, and the body is almost falling apart.

Re: kbb

The year matters too. What you need to remember is that people are more willing to buy high mileage Hondas because of their impecable reliability ratings that they get from Consumer Reports and other places.

Re: kbb

well if my example is read the honda shouldnt b worth more, and it's actually true circumstances, o and add to it that his engine just gave out on him. my only problem with my car is the timing belt needs to b changed or tightened.
and yes i did forget about the year, but seriously there is nothing wrong with any car, u just need to take care of them, it's just people are too lazy to do that
