Passenger side seat heat not working.

For some reason my wife needs her seat heater to work. What usually goes bad on these things? The heat doesn't work at all, but everthing else on the seat works fine.

Was her seatbelt on? My 99 will not work on the pass side unless they are wearing the seatbelt. I took it to dealer because my buddy rode home from up north with me and said the seat heat dont work(he dosent wear a seatbelt) and the service guy sat down in it plugged in the seat belt and I went DUH!!!!!!!!!!!!! and felt dumb.

She normally wears her seat belt, but i'll give it a try. The problem might be with the seat belt. Thanks for bringing this to my attention. I'll keep you posted on the outcome.

Other things. Heated seat module, switch, seatbelt switch (pass only), heating elements (seat cushion and seat back), power feeds (one for the module and another for the switch) and grounds.

-The heat switch works, I swapped it with the drivers side.

Gary: Keep in mind that I'm looking at a '98 service manual. I'm assuming the relay you swapped was in fact the module (6 wires going to it). My diagram shows no switch for seat weight. The only other thing I see is in the seat cushion element. There is a temp sensor that shuts off both elements when it reaches a predetermined (?) temp.......Steve
