leaking cavalier....whats new
i got a 96 2.2 cavalier and i just started to notice that when i park the car after driving it leaks coolent from the top of the radiator on the drivers side. it has about a 1/4in craked and its on the plastic part of the radiator. i dont have any money for a new radiator and i was wondoring what the best and cheap way to fix this is.

I had this same problem in my 94 Altima a little while back. There is a kit that you can buy at Auto Zone that will patch it. It has sand paper some cleaning wipes and a putty that you have to knead together and then put it on. You have to let the car sit overnight or so, so that the putty can harden and set correctly. That was the one drawback but it was a very cheap fix and it never leaked again. FYI: The hole in my car was about two inches long but it was sort of hairline so it was small. The coolant would sort of ooze out and make steam. It had no problem fixing that hole so its definitely worth a shot.
