dexcool and electricty

hi i lost the card that came with my heater core telling me what the electricty value should be in the radiatiator i getting 1.50 volts but cant remember if thats too high or not to cause pin holes in the heater core

right now i have a mix of dex cool and dex cool compatible for the lose of rad coolant

anyone know the electricty value i dont wanna replace it again in 3 months

.2 or over stray volts in the radiator is a problelm.

oh so then the 1.5 i getting is bad what can i do to fix it? and did i do it right i put ground in the coolant and the positive of the meter to the positive of battery

Wrong, positive in the coolant gd to the battery gd. Check it, then turn all the lites and accessories on and see what the vom says, post back, rmember you may the millivolt scale on the vom.

oh ok ya my volt meter i have to get my other one but it ony does 0.00 as a reading but ill go test that now with everything on

ok still 0.00 on my meter so i guessing that is good why when u reverse it u get voltage? i made a switch so u can turn on and off the day time runnign lights so save battery and i noticed when heads on it jumps to 2 volts if i did it the opposite way u said

Thats because you are getting some current flow from the battery through the coolant, not to worry the condition will not happen that way.
