Fujita SRI

Anybody have (or heard) any experience with the Fujita short ram intake on an Type S? I know I can get a little more HP with a CAI, but I'm thinking the SRI is less hassle all the way around, starting with installation.

Re: Fujita SRI

Heard good things. Almost switched out my AEM for a Fujita at one point.

Re: Fujita SRI

I heard SRI barely gives you any gain...I raced my friends 06 Type S I beat him. He doesn't have fujita but he has SRI and I'm stock. Maybe it was the driver...

Re: Fujita SRI

People could probably argue this point all day. I have always been a firm believer (because of what I've heard and read- not because I am a physics professor or anything) that SRIs give better top end gains and CAIs better low end due to dynamics, tube length etc. When all is said and done, they both end up giving fairly equal gains. Though I have seen a dyno or two that made me question this. In any case, I suppose for a Honda motor, low end gains are far more desireable. When you raced your friend how far did it go and what speeds did you reach?

Re: Fujita SRI

We raced to the beginning of 5th gear, I was losing and wwhen I hit 4th I was pulling and I beat him. We did a roll from 3rd and I pulled when I shifted to 4th. From a dig I still won...he was at my gas tank/back bumper.
