Protege 5 Blower Motor

Hi there, first time post in the mazda section, I am a regular in the Ford section

I have a 2003 protege 5 and the blower motor is full of pine needles and I need to clean it out. I had taken it to the mazda dealer before for the same problem and they charged me over $100 to clean it out. Do I need to take off the entire dashboard to get to the blower motor or can I access it from the glove box or somewhere else?
