2002 Civic No Start

We just did a timing belt in a friend's 02 Civic 1.7 litre I believe. Car ran fine for about 50 miles or so, the next day, he got in it drove to the corner, and it died. I tried to pull codes today but there were none present. This is not the first timing belt job either of us have done, so I'm thinking there is some sort of small, stupid problem. Loose wire? Misaligned crank or cam sensor? Anyone have any ideas before we have to pull it apart again? If one of the sensors were a problem wouldn't it throw a code?

Thanks

Dave
