i would like to find out wat is the original HP for a chevy cavalier, i have a 1999 chevy cavaliler z24.?

does any one know.?

its an eam intake i told the people that i bought it from that i wanted a cold air intake but i think its a regular intake, ur can go to my car domain and check it out

thats basicly what i have but mine has a rubber tube instead of metal, and that is definatly not a cold air intake. if it was it would go down in the engine bay to behind the bumper so it could get the cold air from out side of the car instaed of sucking up the warm air under the hood.


and i think that adds about 10hp compaired to the POS stock intake box

Yeah, you won't be getting more then 10hp at the most out of an intake....unless there's a turbo or supercharger somewhere in there too.

i would highly doubt you're going to see any more than 5hp with any sort of intake...people tend to over estimate the power gains that simple bolt on parts give you......
