Re: 1990 accord gauge cluster removal

Hey, so I used to own a 1990 honda accord and had to take out the gauge cluster once to put custom gauge faces on. So the trick is that you have to find all the screws that hold the panel on. If you remove like the light dimmer switch, and the CC or sunroof switch, you will see screws in there, also there are screws in behind the stereo, which you will have to take out as well. Just know that it should come out pretty smoothly if you have gotten all the screws out, if it doesnt, it means that there is still some. I think the person who had my car before me broke a couple of the screw holes by pulling it out without unscrewing all the screws. Anyways, once u get the panel off. There is a couple of screws on the sides of the physical cluster itself. Pretty straight forward, unscrew the screws, take out the cluster, and just unplug it from the back. Installation is just the opposite. Good luck.
