98 200SX factory anti-theft reset??
My daughter lost her remote entry, so now I am stuck with the flashing lights, and no start. I can bump start the car, but I need to know how to reset the thing. I am not going to buy another remote, she will just have to use manual door lock/unlock.

To turn off the alarm you need to lock all of the doors and shut them. Wait 30 seconds to a minute for the little blinking light inside to start blinking intermittently. Then you need to use the key to either unlock the door or the trunk. Either one should disable the alarm. After that, your starter should work again and you should be able to start the car with the key.

well come to find out it's a aftermarket anti theft. I looked in the fuse and relay boxes and the anti theft slots are EMPTY. So I got under the dash and found the inline fuse for the aftermarket alarm. pulled that fuse and now it starts. But it starts intermittently, like some times you can just turn the key and it starts, other times nothing happens until you turn the key back off, then on and it starts. Sometimes you have to do it 3 times. Whats up with that?

so it eventually wouldnt start again, so I had to take it into the alarm shop. Turns out there was one more fuse to pull on the aftermarket alarm system
