99 rear defrost

hey i have a 99 chrysler 300m recently since it started snowing i've noticed that when i turn the rear defrost on nothing happens the light on the button lites up telling me that it is on...but the strips on the window won't heat up?? any idea would be great since winter is here lol

It may be the relay, but it is not guaranteed. I know the relay has been the culprit with some folks, but after they replaced it the defroster still didn't work. It may also be your BCM. Check out this thread:
