i am working on a 95 buick that is doing similar things the cam error and the cam signal cirrcit. i have tested everything but still i have not gotten it to run right. we have put in a new cam sensor, crank sensor, PCM, and a ICM. it still comes back to the same code PO431 and PO342 and i have visualy and with a DMM check the wires and the links to the cam and the crank. if you have any idea what is going on i could use the help.

Have you checked the cam gear magnet on your car?

thank you and i hope i can bring some knoledge to the table.

i looked to see if the magnet was there. the magnet is in one pice and still magnitized.
i just took it out for a road test and i am still geting the codes but i am not getting any cam errors trough gennises.
i have gone back and looked at all the wiring and the 8 pin plug that is under the passenger side carpet.
that was clean as a wistel.
i realy dont know what to think on this.

Looks like either a wiring problem or your down to trying a new ECM.
