2005 Ram RKE Question

I just purchased a 2005 Dodge Ram 1500 Quad Cab 2 weeks ago. I called Dodge and found out that my truck was equipped with a RKE system but the dealership didn't give me one when I purchased it. They said that the remotes weren't given to them when they got it originally. So, I can buy the remote from the dealership but they want to charge me an additional $85 to program it. I know you can program a new remote if you already have one working remote but I don't have that. Is there ANY way to get around forking out another $85 to have this thing programmed? I have read my manual and it only gives instructions on programming new remotes as long as you have an old one. Nothing about how to program a fresh remote. Thanks in advance.
