Re: Finished, F355

Beautiful build! F355 is my favorite modern Ferrari and you've done a great job with your model

This is no critic to your work, but there is something strange in the Fujimi kit's body shape. I'm just not sure what it is... Maybe the windshield is too steep or the roofline wrong? Does anyone know for sure what's wrong with the kit?

Re: Finished, F355

Great work that is, just would like to know if any company did this kit with an engine?

Re: Finished, F355

Hi,

Just love your Ferrari, very nice.

What type of camera, lens, and setting did you used here to take these shots ?

Because normally when you place a car like you did "sideways ", there is always one end of the car that is off focus. You on your pictures, the complete car is on focus...

Please could you share your technique ?

Thanks,
George

Great work! I love where you chose to take the photos, as well. The paintwork is stellar, for certain. Did you use PE for the grills? The rear grill looks very... meshy. Awesome.

Re: Finished, F355

Good looking build, and lovely pictures! Very nicely done. Again an all time favorite of mine, too- but my fav version is the GTS.

mel79- The thing that's always bugged me about the Fujimi body is that the chin bolsters look too chunky. Can't be sure that's the only body shape issue, but that seems the most obvious.

ferrari2k- No, if you want an engine you'll have to look to diecasts. It's really not that much of a loss though. There's not much of the 355's engine that can be seen, even with the bonnet open. It would really be kind of a waste, like the full engine in Tamiya's 360- it's lovely, but there's not much point in detailing it as you'll never see it again.

Re: Finished, F355

Brilliant job, the pictures especially the first few make it appear real!

I agree, there does seem to be something a bit odd about the overall shape of the kit though, after looking at some pictures of the real thing I think the angle of the front windscreen is too upright and the distance between the top of the rear window and the roof also seems to be a bit too large.
