Re: Speaker wires HELP!

Here's all of them in case you decide the front speakers suck after you replace the back ones.

RR (-) light blue
RR (+) dark blue

LR (-) yellow
LR (+) brown

RF (-) dark green
RF (+) light green

LF (-) grey
LF (+) tan

In Phase = good
out of phase = no bass

Re: Speaker wires HELP!

Quick and Easy way to check speaker polarity...

with speaker wires unhooked from radio, momentarily connect a standard 9volt (smoke detector) battery to the speaker's wires. if the speaker "jumps" outward, the polarity is correct, if the speaker "jumps" inward, the polarity is reversed.

So, if your speaker "jumps" out when you touch the leads, then the + side of the battery is your +, and the - side of your battery is your -.
