Question Alarm system setup wrong??????

I dont know if its a canadian thing or not, but my car is from canada and that is where the previous owner had the alarm installed. when i press the button to disarm the alarm rather than the parking lights blinking the cooling fan turns on for a second. you think the shop just fucked it up or what?

It sounds like someone messed up.

If you are comftorable with wiring, you could track it down yourself, disconnect the alarm wire from the fan, and connect it to the parking light wire.

Most parking light wires are white coming off an alarm brain. Sometimes it will list the color codes on teh brain so check there.
