93-97 Probe same as 98 Mazda 626???

Is it really? Because i was looking for performance parts for my friends Mazda 626 and some sites said that the same parts can be used on a Ford Probe.

Yes they are the same mechanicly, just as the mazda and ranger trucks are.
My haynes book also covers both mazda and probe.

well..... close to the same the 93-97 mazda mx6&626 were the exact same but then in 98 they changed the top end of the motor so it the same long block but the heads and intake mani are different and the 98 and up cranks are lighter than ours

prolly not since the probe was assembled in flatrock,michigan and the 626 in japan but they could be i just highly doubt it .....
