Re: Aluminized or Stainless???
If you have the money stainless is nice. It lasts a bit longer, especially if you live in snowy areas where they salt the roads.

Re: Aluminized or Stainless???
Thanks TcmaBoy. After starting two different treads, seems like you are the only one on this forum that is friendly enough to post a suggestion on both.
Oh well... so much for sharing experiences. I'll keep trying though. Happy holidays.... |

Re: Aluminized or Stainless???
I have no experience with stainless on Toyota's but I have an older MGB with a stainless exhaust. The stainless will not rot or rust but I believe it uses the same quality packing as used in cheaper systems. On the MG it's loud enough to be an annoyance. But I'm and old guy and can stand only so much noise, it gets louder each year.

Re: Aluminized or Stainless???
Thanks Clifton. I just ordered the Stainless cat-back system by Gibson yesterday.
I will let you and everyone know how it performs once I get it and installed. Hopefully, I will get it before Christmas. Happy Holidays.... |
