2001 Alignment problem?
I have a 2001 Silverado 1500 ext. cab (80K miles) and I noticed a rust stain in my driveway just under the front drivers-side wheel. On the same day, I noticed my truck pulling to the right while driving. The steering wheel is at the 11 o'clock position when I'm trying to keep the truck driving straight.
Does this sound like a simple alignment fix or something else? Thanks! |

Re: 2001 Alignment problem?
No way to tell without having the ft end and steering checked for wear, then doing an alignment or repair the problem then aligning it.

Not that it is related to your original question but, check your Battery. I noticed rust on my Garage floor and turns out it was battery acid that was leaking out of my battery.

Re: 2001 Alignment problem?
Check with the dealer on the battery deal. GM had an issue awhile back where the post would fall off the battery causing all kinds of issues. I saw the rust mark on my driveway and garage with my 03 Monte Carlo. Afew days later, the car wouldn't start. The car was towed in and they replaced the battery tray, battery and wiring harness due to acid damage. Since it's a known problem with the battery, they might repair any damages caused by a failing battery.
