Dashboard Indicator Lights Draining Battery

I have a 95 Honda Accord..My battery went dead over the weekend after I did not drive the car for the weekend. I replaced the battery because it was over two years old. Last night I noticed that the airflow indicator light was still on as well as the indicator light for the airflow direction...What is going on??? The car is completely turned off. The Fan is not blowing. But those indicator lights will not turn off. I pulled the battery cable off last night just so it would not drain the battery. What can I do?? I'm told that I may have a bad switch. If so how much of a job is that if I take it to my local mechanic??

Re: Dashboard Indicator Lights Draining Battery

I would say your ignition switch is at fault.

Replacing it is time consuming. Get a quote from different mechanics. As well as a locksmith. They may be cheaper.

Good luck,

Sam
