I have a 2004 Aveo LT, and have a problem with my cassete player.
First of all, I'm wondering does your Aveo have that double-din type head unit with radio/tape/CD player? Cuz that's what I have. One day I was playing Daddy's old cassete, the sound wuz quite okay, but a problem occured when I was gonna eject the cassete. It's jammed! Damn! I pressed the eject button several times but it didn't work out. It just lifted the cassete but it won't come out. I tried pulling it with my finger and even using a screwdriver, but still no result. Still stuck in there. But I don't see any tape ribbons jammed anywhere. Do you guys have any idea what I should do? (Than bring it to the dealer).Eventhough I don't really need that cassete player, I still feel fustrated when the thing doesn't work. Thanks b4 guys! |

Thanks for the suggestion, but I've already tried that, and it didn't work. Still jammed in there. I think that pointy thing to turn the cassette is stuck and won't come down when I press the eject button. So no matter how hard I try to pull the cassette, it won't come out. I think I have to bring it to an audio specialist and have it fixed by them... (but is sucks don't it?)
