coolant temperature sensor

can anyone tell me where the coolant temperature sensor is located on 1991 s10blazer? Also, what is a temperature sender? thanks

There are two possibly, on by the thermostat housing and one between the number 2 and 4 cylinders on the passenger side of the head.

the one on the pass side of the engine is for the gauge, the by the t-stat is for the computer
