good bye, lincoln forum
well guys, today i had my lincoln picked up because the repairs on it were becoming too much for me. the car really started to nickel and dime me to the point that it was becoming too expensive. all at once, a freeze plug blew, the power steering pump went, and the valve cover gaskets were leaking. so i had three different types of fluids leaking into my driveway. so i gave the car away to my friend i work with since he used to be a mechanic and he's going to fix it. today he called me saying his prices for the repairs my car needs were closing in on $1000. so i figured hey, i would just give him the car. but oh do i miss that car already and it has only been gone for nine hours. so its time to move on. as of now, i am driving the truck i use for work (96 dodge dakota sport) until i decide what car i should buy.
so if any of you guys have any suggestions on a good car to buy these days, let me know. i honestly don't know what i want. so any suggestions would be great. other than that, it was great getting to know some of you and i thank all of you who have helped me keep my car running as long as it did (i had it since 2000). take it easy everyone.

Re: good bye, lincoln forum
Hi Sean
Sorry to see you go buddy. I know what is is like when they start to nickle and dime you to death. There are times you just have to move on to the next car. You had a good run with her. You could allways keep an eye open for a clean newer model TC. I've still haven't got my 91 TC on the road yet. The project went on the back burner again. It developed a leak in sun roof and soaked the interior still drying it out from that. The sun roof never worked from the get go, so I just caulked it in with the some black rtv, lets see that darn thing leak now. Mike |

Re: good bye, lincoln forum
Hey man. I would suggest a newer model Lincon TC. A great american luxury ride without the price tag. I hope you find a nice one bro!

All you will need is a bigger garage and a town car for vacations.
