spare tire question

My wife is 70 miles north of me right now and she has a flat tire, its 8:00 at night, and I have to be up for work at 3:45 am. SHe is at her parents and is fine, but her dad is really sick and will not be able to help her. She says she cannot find the spare on our 94 Safari. I believe it is underneath??????? If it is, is it one that is lowered down or bolted in? I feel absolutely terrible for not going up there tonight.

Re: spare tire question

A little late now, but the owner's manual is your friend in this case.

On the next sunny day, teach your wife/husband/daughter/son, or whoever will be driving your vehicle, how to change the tire. It isn't hard, and it could save a lot of trouble.

Even if they aren't physically capable of doing it, they might be able to flag someone down to do it for them, and could at least show them where the spare tire and tools are.
