Honda Integra Type R DC5 (Fujimi)
This kit is given by my friend.Build about 2 weeks. Color is normal silver and cleared and polish. Interior is simple. Rims are sprayed gold color. The panel line of this model is quite deep a bit of scale here...

Re: Honda Integra Type R DC5 (Fujimi)
Agreed with fitso, an excellent build altogether, but those panel lines come off way too strong--try to use a colour that's no more than a shade or two darker than the body's colour--in this case, grey.
Awesome build otherwise! |

Re: Honda Integra Type R DC5 (Fujimi)
Looks very good, cham! You've come a long way. I agree that the panel lines are too dark - but then, I reckon panel lines to be too dark 90% of the time, and actually never add them.
Also, if it's a Type R, where are the badges? People with real Type Rs are way too proud of their cars to leave them unbadged.

Re: Honda Integra Type R DC5 (Fujimi)
thanks for the feedback guys
![]() actually i am used of using black lining cause from what i observe from real cars the gap that we will see is black right? i didn't expect it too be that protuding ! it's the kit design where the panel lines are wider than usual from what i observed by comparing my evo v and the dc5. this kit a bit screwed up in terms of quality..i can say.. sigh... i will give a darker grey a try...

the Type R decals are still in the decals sheet. I leave it unbadge cause i sprayed this car silver but tpye R cars are usually white or yellow... initially this car is white but i oversand some parts and screw it ! i decided on silver instead. ![]() thanks willimo

You can also try thinned flat black (about 5 thinner to 1 black ratio but it depends on the body colour as well) instead of grey for the panel lines. You can make the mix so thin it basically "flows" through the panel lines. This makes the color semi transparent and the result is generally more realistic this way. I used this method even on a white car and it does not look too bad... Winston |
