Who would win
This kid in my high school has a Maxima and he walks up to me and says "why you guys looking at Evos they suck my Maxima chould kick its ass" now Maximas are nice they have like 255 hp i think but still i dont think a Maxima chould whip an Evo i dont think it could beat the Evo 8 thats coming out hear there are no sepcs yet but ever mag is saying 275 280 AWD and isnt the Maxima Fwd so i dont think a stock maxima could win stock for stock Evo all the way and then he had the nerve to say jap cars suck

i hope you know that the 280hp rating for hte evo is soooo underrated. the evo7 dynos at 240+ hp at the wheels. now lets say the AWD drivetrain lose is .25% sooo you multiply 240 X 1.25. and you get a hp rating of 300. or alittle more at the crank. and yes the evo can hit 12's on the quarter. i maybe a nissan man. but the max was never designed to fight the evo. if he wants to talk shit. then he should bring the GT-R into the equation.

Once again, the version of the Evo the US is getting will NOT be as powerful as the version therest of the world gets. Our version is expected to be about 250hp period. Just enough to be a bit quicker than our watered down WRX. The Evo would still win though.

Naw, we're getting a 280hp Evo (and thats a very conservative number). Just read it in R&T. Plus we're getting the 280HP STi too (with different headlights
)

Damn, you must get R&T before I do! I read that the version we are getting would have less power because of ower octane North American fuel... Same with the STI when it gets here. Of course, there are always ways around that... like propane!

I believe the evo VII put 320hp at the crank. Maxima 255. Evo VII AWD. Maxima FWD.
