Antenna and Radio problems
Im replacing my radio in my 95 lesabre. my radio harness doesn't have a wire for the power antenna. so when i turn on my radio, my antenna stays down. is there a way i can cut the power to the antenna or whatever i have to do, so i can just pull my antenna up and keep it up.
Thanks Harley |

If this is the 32 pin connector on your car, all you need is a swiched (ign) power source to the green wire #3.

Re: Antenna and Radio problems
How do i do that? What im looking to do is just leave the antenna up. I would like that better, than having to rewire my radio harness

Re: Antenna and Radio problems
Is the diagram above, how your original radio was wired? If so, you could run a fused wire from the driver’s side fuse panel under the dash that is marked "ign". This means, you would have 12V power when the ignition switch is turned on. If you connect that wire to the green wire, the antenna would raise when you turn on the ignition and lower when you turn off the ign switch. Someone else may have a better idea on how to do this, however this is better than the manual method.
