Coin Slot

Can anyone tell me how to remove the 6 Disc CD/Radio (NO NAV) on a 2006 Odyssey EX-L?? it appears that my 2 year old thought it was a coin slot & filled the 6 Disc CD Changer with Quarters. I just would like to clean them out.

Re: Coin Slot

It's a good thing you figured out the problem. We had this same problem, but didn't know it until about $250 of diagnostics work to figure out why the dash board lights went out. The dealer traced the problem through the electronics to the radio, where there was a short circuit because of coins in the CD slot. They took the coins out and the fuses stopped blowing and everything was back to normal. Now we keep black electrical tape over the slot - until my 2-year old son knows the value of money, and the cost of misplaced change! :-)
