High NOx 1997 vw
Anyone know a fix for high NOx reading. 1997 vw jetta gls 2.0. 459 is max in ca and car is reading 670. HC and Co readings are great.

check static (initial) timing. If its too far advanced it will make high NOx. Then check the EGR valve. If its not functioning properly it will make it high too.
