Re: Spark plug question

I use motorcraft or auto lite on my ford vehicles. The platinum is a 50'000 mile rated plug. The douple platinum is a 100,000 mile rated plug. It depends on how hard they are to change and how long you plan on keeping the vehicle.

Re: Spark plug question

for my $ .02, i installed bosh +4's, @ 70, 000 miles, on my 96 T.C.
took every socket extension and u joint i had.
had to pull the fuel rail and plug coils, as they are on top of the plugs.
average time was 1/2 hr per plug. 8 plugs= 4hrs. but now it is done, and i am happy with the results.
this with my k +n air filter, and walmart full synthetic oil now results in 25.8 average m p g over the last 2800 miles.
previously it had been 24.0 m p g.
just my experience, lets see how u do
mike

I'm going to guess you'll need more than that. You should have also flushed the transmission twice before now, 35k/40k mile intervals.

Have you seen the Check Engine lamp lighted yet?
