Headlight harness removal question

Replaced the headlight (driver side low beam) this morning - very hard to get to even with removed battery. Imagine it's even harder to get to the passenger side low beam bulb. Which brings the question - how hard is it to remove the whole headlight assembly/harness - that would give a nearly unobstructed access to the bulbs.

Thanks.

P.S. I have an '05 Sedona

Re: Headlight harness removal question

Let me answer my own question. Passenger side low beam bulb stopped working the other day, so I just removed the whole assembly. Very easy, just three bolts with 10mm heads. The assembly won't fall out as it's held by cables, it's all plastic and a lot lighter than I expected. Once it's out sort of lying on the bamper you have completely unobstructed access to the bulbs, much much better than if trying to get to them from inside the engine compartment. The only thing - make sure it 'clicks' in when you are putting it back in place and make sure there is no gap around the assembly and the body.

The following is based on my own experience only, use these directions at your own risk, as with everything else YMMV.
