Performace cams for 3800?

Hey, again. My teacher who works on old Stangs told me that if I wanted some more low end power, I would want a new cam. I was just wondering if there were any popular cams for the 3800 engine. If so, what kind of hp gains would I be looking at? Also, would I be losing gas economy? Is this a do-it yourself job?

Re: Performace cams for 3800?

head over to www.fullthrottlev6.com for a lot more info... but I am currently in the process of buying Abbott's N/A grind, see www.abbottracingheads.com (click on GM 3800)

another option is ZZP's GT series cams, can find them somewhere on www.zzperformance.com
