Was getting ready to replace my rear brake drums and shoes. Wondering what brands you guys use on your Tahoes and how they have preformed? Also, thinking of adding headers within the next month or two at the most. Where are some good websites or stores to buy them for a good deal. And which brands have you used and how have they worked?? All input would be greatly appreciated.

Re: 97 Tahoe ...Brakes and Headers....
I went to NAPA to get my front pads...just bought the standard set and installed them about 3 1/2 years ago...I do a lot of towing and hard driving and those pads are working like they did when I bought them...I will definatley go back to NAPA when I have to reinstall them...hope this helps you out.

Re: 97 Tahoe ...Brakes and Headers....
I Have A 2000 Tahoe Limited With Rear Drums. I Used Duralast Shoes From Kragens. Work Great And Not To Expensive. Make Sure You Adjust Your Drums, By Driving And Stop In Reverse, Before You Start Driving.
