I think Clutch might be bad

I have a 2000 Sonoma standard. I think the clutch might be going bad because I will push the clutch all the way to the floor and it is still hard to get it in gear. Its weird because before this started happeing I use to be able to just barely push the clutch in and I would be able to slide into the next gear. Right now I have to really push it into the next gear with the clutch all the way to the floor. I was wondering if anyone could tell me if these are signs of a clutch going bad or if its something else. Thanks in advance.

Re: I think Clutch might be bad

Check the hydraulic cylinder for the clutch, under the hood on the firewall, for proper fluid level.

I don't mean to sound like an idiot but how do you go about doing that, I'm not going to lie I really don't know that much about vehicles. Could you be more specific please? Thanks in advance.

Just to the r/s of the brake master should be a small cylinder with an cap on it that is the fluid reservoir for the clutch cylinder, sounds like you may need a pro to look at this for you.
