Place yer bets
Looks like I am finally going to get to run a certain Corvette this weekend.
 Trying to line up a cameraman. Going in street trim which means Nitto DR's on the back. 2007 against a 1999??? What you think?

Z06's are quite wicked... But from what I gather a tricky car to get off the line.

i have no idea. i just have a feeling your launch is what is going to kill you. and explain why u run out of gear at 125. i know about different gears, but for some reason i thought you had a 5 speed.

4th gear ends at 125MPH.
I don't like to race using overdrive gears...which are 5th and 6th. Good way to trash a transmission. The car will go plenty over that 125MPH. 4.11's with a rev limiter at 6700 RPM's. Top speed in 5th = 168 Top speed in 6th = 249 Stock top speed gearing... (3.42 with a rev limit of 6200) 5th = 187 6th = 277 Of course...the car would have to have the power to pull all the way through 6th gear and against that wind resistance. My top speed would most likely be near 185 MPH right now.... Not sure if the car would like that too much.

Should be a very good race to watch. He is completely stock I take it? Are you guys only going from a dig or from a roll as well? I think it will be a very close race so it's a toss up for me. Either way be safe.
