What unpopular car do you like?

Ok, so I understand this might be a retarted premice (sp?) for a thread, but I wanna know this. What car that was not looked fondly upon by the automotive world do you really like?

Examples:
Pontiac Aztek
Late model Mercury Cougar
Ford Pinto
Jaguar X-Type
etc.

Mine would be the Mercury Marauder (especially if its black). I like it so much because its classic American Muscle in the modern day that isn't Mustang type muscle. Its a RWD, high output V8 sedan that doesnt draw attention to itself (flying below the radar/subtlety (sp?) is somthing of a fondness of mine when it comes to cars). This is reenforced because I don't see many Marauders around here. And when I do I have a cargasm.

As for a car that many hate,....i would probably go w/ the pontiac fiero. everyone makes fun of it i talk to. they call it a "plastic car" and say how many problems they have (which some do). but i really like almost all cars.

Well I suppose not, but I think because its a Mercury and they arent very common around Minneapolis (people will just buy a Crown Vic or a Town Car instead). But thats just my take of it.

I like the Ford EXPs (first generation 82-85). I am not a ford guy at all, but I had one as my first car. They are very unique looking and getting rather rare. Have not seen one in a long time.

I also like the Old Nissan Pulsars and even the Nissan NX from the early 90s.

Don't know if any of these cars are looked down upon, but they certainly are a bit out of the mainstream.

Had to think for a moment on this one. It's kind of hard to pick one. I like a lot of the AMC's from the late '60s through the '70s that were looked down upon, or ridiculed. If were talking about later models then I could say the Chevrolet Lumina APVs, Pontiac Transports, etc. of the early '90s. When they first came out they were laughed at because of their looks and one complaint was that it was hard to see the road from the driver's seat because of the long front end. These vehicles have really lasted through the years, especially in my area of the country where most vehicles from the early '90s are rusting away in the salvage yards due to the heavy salt usage on our roads. Most of these minivans still look great ,( due to fiberglass body panels,)and many are still running the roads in my area, where other cars of that vintage are no longer doing so.

That car was THE car of 80's cinema, granted 80's car styling wasn't the epitome of grace and style but you gotta love those gull-wing doors! Back then it really did look like it was from the future.

I like the Lada Riva, which is a Russian vehicle based on a 1960s Fiat model, that fact being reflected in the styling - very square and box-shaped. No electronic engine management units - just an ignition coil, contact breaker points, a rotor arm and a distributor. No longer imported here in the UK since the 1990s, they're now a great rarity. Had an extremely low purchase price so were popular amongst those who needed to do their motoring on a limited budget but were ridiculed by the rest of the population due to their perceived unreliability. Also the subject of many jokes, such as:

Q. Why does a Lada have a heated rear window?
A. To keep your hands warm when you're pushing it home.

Haha, that one's funny but I always found them to be very reliable vehicles. I travelled many thousands of miles in my two Ladas and I'd still be driving one today if they hadn't stopped importing them.
