Computer Upgrade On Eclipse GS?
I was just wondering is there a chip or something I could install on my Eclipse GS that will boost hp about 20-30?I heard this somewhere.Not like a managment system,but a chip.These are the mods I currently have on my car.Magnaflow carback & K&N filter.I plan to install a AEM cold-air induction system the end of this and a header after that.I hate the way my car performs I just want to crack like 170-180 hp.Not a lot,but would sastify me.Would a computer chip help?

afx chip
its funny that you posted this because AFX just made a chip that works for our cars. it adds about 15 hp to the wheels on a stock eclipse and if u are modded than that number will go up!!! go to www.2gnt.com for more info. Also dont get any other chip because none of the other chips will give you any gains in hp. The number could even be more than 15 to the wheels because AFX only had eclipse on the dyno for 1 hr and every time they ran it the hp went up.

Thank you.Finally I get some info that helps.Everyelse I've posted all I get is that I have to finish modding my car and then send the ecu to Jet Performance to be tailered to my cars mods.A lot of trouble for not a lot of hp gains.But 15 hp from a chip,wow!:ylsuper
