1999 Trooper with bad engine-need information
I'm looking at a Trooper with a bad 3.5L engine, and will assume it needs to be replaced (probably with a used engine). I have had one guy tell me the 1998 & 1999 are different than the 2000-2002, and for that reason they are expensive.
Can the Acura engine be substituted? Anyone got a suggestion for a used engine source? Best reply to: [email protected] (since I think this forum has the wrong e-mail address and I haven't been able to figure out how to revise it.) Thanks |

Re: 1999 Trooper with bad engine-need information
the acura was just a rebadged trooper. so year for year should be no problem.

Re: 1999 Trooper with bad engine-need information
2000-2002 had the drive by wire system to there would be a could of things different. But if you had the old engine yet you could unbolt the old stuff onto the new?
