2000 van stalls not all the time

need help van giving 403 error code, which is a egr malfunction, wife says it has been stalling when stopping anyone had this code

The EGR solenoid is bad or not getting power or a ground or the vacuum hose between the EGR valve is clogged, cracked, or broken. Here's some details on the system on a 99. A 2000 should be close.

thanks for the reply, something new since i started messing. I have 2 vans so i checked to see if the egr stem was moving and it is not on my broken one. also
I wiggled hoses and wires and the engine light went off while it was running. first time this happened. I will try hoses first.
