Re: Just got a 77

Welcome to the MG clan. Some places to buy parts are:
http://www.thebhive.com/index.html
http://www.mossmotors.com/
Get the Moss MGB catalog, it contains lots of very useful data as well as parts information.
http://www.victoriabritish.com/features/mg/MG.htm
http://www.lbcarco.com/
There are lots of other sources, just do a search. You didn't say where you are but if in the USA some of the parts houses will have some mechanical and electrical parts.

The following locations are good MGB informtion sources;
http://www2.mgcars.org.uk/cgi-bin/ge...20065413604047
http://www.mgexperience.net/

MGB specifications can be found here.
http://www.mgexperience.net/article/specification.html

If you haven't purchased a repair manual, Haynes has a good MGB manual.
Also The Complete Official MGB: 1975-1980
MGB Owner's Manual and MGB Repair Manual, one source is;
http://www.themotorbookstore.com/coofmg19.html
Others to consider are eBay, Amazon.com, Walmart.com
Walmart.com has a big book selection
