60k tune up

as i mentioned in some previous thread, my stealth tt is nearing the 60k mark, i dnt drive it(insurance is way too much) but while im waiting i'll just get the tune up done. this is my first turbo car, is there anything special that has to be done?
also my car tends to roll backwards in park with the parking brake all the way up, is that the result of the cars weight, or the brake?
last thing, not even having to deal with 3/s, anyone wanna buy a porsche 924? its a 79, needs a valve job, and a few other things, i have part order books, and all the other little goodies.

Re: 60k tune up

60k tune is in the FAQ. handbrake should stop the car from moving at all. If im not mistaken, the handbrake in 3/s's is a drum type thing inside/behind the rear rotors. again, not positive on this, but the pads may be worn down. I know with some ebrake handbrake drums you can sort of adjust them tighter by braking hard when going backwards. But i would wait for someone else to chime in on that one.

Re: 60k tune up

If you wanna go with OEM parts for your 60K, go with Rockville: http://www.mitsupartsdirect.com/ They have a really good price on the package.

Re: 60k tune up

For the handbrake, theres' a jamnut and adjuster under the center console to adjust the tightness of the ebrake, you just have to turn that to tighten it up. There are ebrake shoes on the rear which could be gone also, check by taking off the rear rotors.
