1998 V6 Accord Turn Signal issue
Here is the situation:
Engine on Headlights on Driving When I initially turn on the turn signal, either left or right, all the lights dim (headlights and dash) and then come back to full strength. After the first "blink", the lights do not dim for the duration of the turn signal. If I quickly turn the turn signal on, off and then on again, the lights only dim the first time. The battery is new and have charged it with a low amperage charger for about 8 hours. It is a 2 amp charger. Thank you for your time. Dennis |

Re: 1998 V6 Accord Turn Signal issue
I think that this looks like a bad ground somewhere. The elctrical current is looking and finding its way through the different curcuit. This time through the headlights. Since both sides are involved I would look for a common point of connection for both left and right sides. Look into the wiring diagram.
I hope this will help. Sam

Re: 1998 V6 Accord Turn Signal issue
Thanks Sam. Do you know if the 1997 Wiring manual is the same for the 1998?
This is what I have. http://hondatech.info/downloads/Auto/Manuals/Accord/ Ab0VE Honda Accord 97 wiring zip |

Re: 1998 V6 Accord Turn Signal issue
I am not sure but I believe 97 and 98 are different. I have two Haynes manuals: 95-97 and 98-99. I do not have them on me. They are at home.
