initial d 5th stage
is this a planned event or part of the series or what? i was reading that there might be, but no new material as the anime has caught up to the manga. any word out there yet? thanks.

I hear/read its coming also, but no one seems to know when. I read on one website that people were saying sometime 2008. How true that is I dont know. I hope it comes sooner though because 2008 is SOO far away.

i have no idea if that would happen, as all the races take places on mountains. how many people do you know if had a ferarri, would drive it fast cornering, instead of just straight? very few. if they are to keep this realistic in a way, there will be no rx-8 or 350z. too new of a car if oyu think about it. the newest car he raced was a s2k, so by increasing one year doesn't mean he'll race a 350z, which dropped in 03 i think. somethin like that anyway.

actually they would have a 350 and rx-8 if it was a year later, cause byt the end of stage 4 it was 2001 and that is when the 350 and rx-8 were introduced in japan. they went on sale in 2001.5 we didnt get them till 2003 and 2003.5 which was 2 years later, thats how behind we are.

Thats what I like about wagan midnight, they have all kinds of cars. The only non JDM car you really see in initial d is that dude in the benz.
