Power mirrors dont work?

I got the truck about a year ago and the power mirrors never worked.. any ideas?

Again, what year and model.

It may be the switch is bad or a fuse. check the fuse box first, then pull out the switch and look for any defects.

ok ill try that first... and its a 99 silverado z71
