overheating 88 K-5. need help asap.
I recently replaced the fuel pump, coil, and gave it a tune up. Problem after problem.
Now my blazer is overheating. It was running off the gauge so i pulled over. No leaks, it has fluid, and now it won't start. my only thoughts are either thermosthat or water pump. How can i tell if it is the water pump, and is there anything else it could be? Its a 350 TBI. Its my daily driver, so i need to find out quick. Thanks!

Re: overheating 88 K-5. need help asap.
If it's the pump you should see the coolant leak around it. But you said it was not leaking...
Overheating without a leak - belt broken Plugged radiator (rare) Bad intake or head gasket Cracked Block Hope you have a leak... Running HOT - also bad timing It won't start???? Do you have fire/ do you have gas? |
