Trany Oil change

Hello guys I have a 95 3000 Gt that is giving me a harde time to change gears any one can trowme some idea of that happen on my transmision

you have a 95 3000GT. is it a turbo or non-turbo? how many miles are on it? when was the last time you changed your transmission fluid? i assume you have a 5 spd manual? what do you mean by "hard time changing gears"? do you hear a grinding noise? etc etc. be a little more specific and detailed.

well if you want the simplest answer on how to change the tranny fluid, it's super easy, and can be done in under 5 minutes.

1) go buy some 75w-90 or 80w-90 gear oil, it's like $3 and change at walmart
2) if you have a lift, great, otherwise spend a few bucks at walmart on this pump thing (it's in the automotive section) that has 2 tubes attached to it. Kinda looks like a bicycle pump.
3) get underneath the car and undo the bolt in the bottom/front side of the tranny. it's a 17mm bolt.
4) figue out which side of the pump "sucks" and which one "blows" (yeah yeah). Put the sucking tube in the gear oil, and put the blowing tube in the hole in the tranny.
5) Pump until it starts to overfill.
6) put 17mm bolt back in.

Done and done.

Is your car a 5 speed or automatic?
The owners manual should have directions on changing the tranny fluid/gear oil. If you don't have one, Linebckr or I can post up diagrams from teh Service Manual. Basically, it's just as easy as changing engine oil. Open the fill plugs first...ALWAYS, to make sure you don't get stuck with the fill plug stuck on, and allt he fluid already drained.

Then you open the drain plug(s), dump the fluid, close htem, fill with a pump into fill plug to proper level, close fill plug.

Changing the fluid will definitely help, however, if hte problem is greater, it will only lessen the problem, not fix it.

Could you try to describe exactly which gears are harder to get into?
Does it happen while driving, or only while at a stand still?
Are there any grinding noises?

a vibration in the clutch pedal doesn't mean you have a bad clutch. check the pedal where it connects up under the dash. make sure everything is tight and there is nothing loose.
