When my Mass air flow sensor is plugged in my car idles irregular. When i press the gas pedal the car jumps as if im pressing the gas and immediatly letting go. When i unplug the air flow sensor it drives fine. But my Check engine light is on. I took it to a mechanic to look at my car. They replaced the sensor and it didnt fix the problem, i even replaced the ECU. Still didnt fix anything. Could i possibly be the O2 sensor?? WHat else could it possibly be??

Re: Mass AIR Sensor problems
If it runs fine with it unplugged then I would drive with it unplugged. The cheap solution. lol
![]() Now if you wanna do it properly, then I would unplug it so the Check Engine Light comes on and then have Autozone or somebody scan it for you to determine what else is wrong with it.
