Re: Honda CB750F
Hi Roca ;
the secret with Alclad Chrome is .... you need a GLOSSY Black Groundcoat the more the Alclad will shine . and Alclad only in very THINN Coats ..thats all. Example: ![]() After that you will get very shiny parts . Cheers Lutz |

Re: Honda CB750F
Nice start...I'm currently building the regular version of this bike.
As for the Alclad Chrome, it's important you use a black enamel paint for the base coat... it must be enamel! Airbrush at around 10-12 psi and do it in several thin coats. |

Re: Honda CB750F
Hi Roca, We will follow this project, because my daughter ( 7 years old ) is building the same bike.
It's her first motorbike. I will post a topic of it as soon as possible. Good luck with yours. Denman

Re: Honda CB750F
Thank you guys! Well this weekend unfortunately I don't have pictures, but next weekend yes.
The wheels has taken me 2 hours in paint the fine lines so I hope to give them a clear coat. When you open this box or older kits you can see how the quality of Tamiya was for those years... and how has been perfected Quote:
